Introduction of our Pastor
Dr. Harry Whipple Planted the Amerasian Baptist Church in Anjong-ni in 1993.
He served as pastor for five years until 1998.
He returned to Korea in 2008 and served as pastor until 2017.
The Lord led him back to Camp Humphreys and Anjong-ni in 2021.
Bro. Harry served as a U.S. Army Chaplain for three years with the 101st Airborne Division and deployed to Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Following that assignment, he transferred to Military Intelligence and retired from the Army after 22 years of active military service.
He is a veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
His education includes:
– Doctor of Ministry, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky
– Master of Arts in Counseling, Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia
– Master of Divinity, Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana
– Bachelor of Religious Education, Cincinnati Baptist College, Cincinnati, Ohio
